I love brevity

I tend to write more ‘asides’ (they’re the pink ones on here) than ‘articles’. I like concise writing but it takes more thought. I know people who write long-winded paragraphs and essays in email, blogs, 9rules notes, and comments. Do your readers (message receivers) a favor: the more to the point, the better responses you’ll get. I’m personally starting with this policy: five.sentenc.es. Can’t you be more brief?

About Devin Reams

My name is Devin Reams and I founded this site to provide a useful news and review resource for Colorado skiers and snowboarders (and mountain enthusiasts). I've been skiing since I was a little kid (we moved out here when I was five years old) and I plan to ski for years beyond that. Although cosnow is not my full-time job it is my full-time winter hobby. I've been an "Epic Local" passholder since 2006 (when it was called a "Colorado Pass" or "Five Mountain Pass"). My favorite resorts are Beaver Creek and Breckenridge.

Yeah, you’re right. Depending on the readers (unless you’ve got some strange stalkers), most readers will not read really long blog posts unless the title interests them.
However, even if you have one of the most boring titles ever, if the article is only a paragraph long, most readers would just read it.
