I can’t picture a more ironic, yet somehow satisfying headline: “Enron Corp. founder and former Chief Executive Ken Lay, who was convicted in May for his role in the Houston-based company’s downfall, died after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday at his vacation home in Colorado.” (Link)
I think he was pretty lucky to have a heart attack. After the harm he did to millions of people, I wish he didn’t die so that he could serve out his sentence and live in shame for a long time.
Fair enough, it just seemed like an interesting coincidence.. all that money stolen and now he can’t even “enjoy” it. If you ask me, he died one the poorest man I can think of…
