There&#8217;s an easy way to stop these:<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><strong>1-888-5OPTOUT or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.optoutprescreen.com\/?rf=t\">OptOutPrescreen.com<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>I wouldn&#8217;t have noticed this offer was available to me if it weren&#8217;t for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.privacyrights.org\/ar\/FTC-OptOutPrescreen.htm\">this new regulation<\/a> requiring a statement in &#8220;12-point type &#8211; on the first page of the offer&#8221; letting me know I can stop unsolicited offers. You have the option of having your information removed for 5 years or permanently (you must mail back a form). If you&#8217;re wary of giving up your information you can read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ftc.gov\/bcp\/conline\/pubs\/credit\/prescreen.htm\">this page from the FTC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The FTC also points to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dmaconsumers.org\/offmailinglist.html\">this website used for deleting yourself from direct marketing mailing lists<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230; what are you waiting for?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sick of getting credit offers that you never initiated?
